عنوان فارسی بررسی کارکرد بینایی و همبستگی آن با کیفیت زندگی در سالمندان استفاده کننده از خدمات درمانگاه‌‌‌های دولتی بوشهر
چکیده فارسی مقاله اهداف: ضعف بینایی یکی از ده علل شایع ناتوانی است. بیش از دو سوم بالغین دچار مشکلات بینایی، سالمندان بالای 65 سال هستند. هدف این پژوهش تعیین رابطه کارکرد بینایی با کیفیت زندگی در سالمندان مراجعه کننده به درمانگاه‌‌‌های دولتی شهر بوشهر بود. مواد و روش‌ها: این طرح از نوع توصیفی-تحلیلی است که به روش مقطعی اجرا شده است. روش نمونه گیری تصادفی خوش‌‌های بود. برای جمع آوری داده‌ها از پرسشنامه‌‌‌های کارکردبینایی (25-VFQ) و کیفیت زندگی (36-SF) استفاده شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن، آزمون من-ویتنی وکروسکال-والیس مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. یافته‌ها: داده‌‌‌های گرد آوری شده از 173 آزمودنی با میانگین سنی 6/8±69/3 سال که ٪71/1 آن‌ها مذکر بودند مورد تحلیل آماری قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که وضعیت کارکرد بینایی (17/24±67/82) و کیفیت زندگی (23/29±56/41)آزمودنی‌ها در حد متوسط بوده و رابطه مستقیم و معنی داری بین کارکرد بینایی و کیفیت زندگی سالمندان وجود دارد (P< 0/0001) و این رابطه به رغم تغییر در متغیر‌‌های سن، جنس، وضعیت تاهل و سطح تحصیلات حفظ می‌شود. افزایش سن، نداشتن همسر و بیسوادی، همبستگی کارکرد بینایی با کیفیت زندگی را افزایش می‌دهد. نتیجه‌گیری: ارائه خدمات پیشگیری، غربالگری، درمان، و توانبخشی بینایی به سالمندان، خصوصاً گروه‌‌‌های در معرض خطر فوق، توصیه می‌شود

عنوان انگلیسی Visual Functioning and Its Relations With Quality of Life in the Older People Using Governmental Outpatient Clinics Services in the City of Boushehr
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Objectives: Visual impairment is among the ten most prevalent conditions leading to disability. More than 2/3 of adults who suffer from visual problems are at ages of 65 years and over. The aim of this research was to determine the relation between visual functioning and quality of life in elderly who receive health services at the governmental out-patient clinics of the City of Boushehr. Methods & Materials: The present research is a descriptive analytical study which was implemented by cross-sectional method. The random cluster sampling was used. Two questionnaires consisting of visual function questionnaire (VFQ-25) and short form (SF-36) were used for collecting data. Gathered data were analyzed using correlation coefficient of Spearman, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests. Results: Gathered data from 173 participants analyzed. The mean age of study subject was 69.3±6.8 years, and 71.1% were male. Results showed that visual functioning (67.82±17.24) and quality of life (56.41±23.29) of the participants were at the intermediate level and there was a direct and significant relation between visual functioning and quality of life of the participants (P≤0.0001). This relation stood in spite of the varying age, sex and educational levels. Advanced age, not having a spouse, and illiteracy enhanced the correlation of visual functioning with quality of life. Conclusion: Delivering preventive, screening, visual treatment along with its rehabilitation services in elderly, especially to the mentioned at risk groups, are recommended.
