ارزشیابی اثرات بهداشتی ذرات معلق در هوا بر روی کارگران در یک کارخانه کاشی‌سازی |

زمینه و هدف: آلودگی هوا از جنبه‌های مختلف شامل حفظ سلامت محصول و تجهیزات، و حفظ محیط زیست و هم‌چنین از دیدگاه‌های اقتصادی، مورد بحث و بررسی قرار می‌گیرد. علاوه بر جنبه‌های فوق، بحث اثرات آلودگی هوا بر سلامتی شاغلین یکی از مباحث مهم و منطبق بر رسالت کارشناسان و متخصصان بهداشت حرفه‌ای می‌باشد. تحقیق حاضر، با هدف تعیین تراکم گردوغبار و بررسی علایم بهداشتی ناشی از آن در یک کارخانه کاشی‌سازی اجرا گردید. روش بررسی: در این تحقیق، تراکم کلی گردوغبار با استفاده از متد 0500 مؤسسه ملی ایمنی و بهداشت شغلی (NIOSH 1994) در دو سالن پرس یک کارخانه کاشی‌سازی، سنجش و ارزشیابی شد. مجموع کارگران شاغل به کار در هر دو سالن (100 نفر)، به عنوان گروه مورد در نظر گرفته شدند. افراد گروه شاهد را کارکنان بخش دفتری کارخانه تشکیل دادند (100 نفر). با استفاده از پرسشنامه استاندارد تعیین علایم بهداشتی مواجهه با گردوغبارهای آزاررسان، علایم بهداشتی ناشی از مواجهه با گردوغبار در دو گروه مورد و شاهد با آزمون اختلاف نسبت (Z Value Test) مورد تحلیل قرار گرفت. سطح معنی‌داری، کمتر از 05/0 در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها غلظت متوسط گردوغبار در سالن پرس شماره یک، 262/52 میلی‌گرم بر متر مکعب و در سالن پرس شماره دو 158/32 میلی‌گرم بر متر مکعب به دست آمد و مشخص شد که در خصوص علایمی هم‌چون سرفه خشک، قرمزی پوست، آبریزش چشم، کوتاه‌شدن نفس، تاری دید، سوزش پوست، گرفتگی صدا، خشکی گلو، خارش گلو و خارش پوست، بین گروه مورد و گروه شاهد اختلاف معنی‌دار آماری وجود دارد (05/0›P). اما در مورد علایمی مثل سردرد، درد قفسه سینه، آبریزش بینی، سرفه باخلط، مشکلات سینوسی و خس خس سینه، اختلاف معنی‌داری بین گروه مورد و شاهد مشاهده نشد. نتیجه‌‌گیری نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که گردوغبار آزاررسان می‌تواند بر سلامتی، راندمان و عملکرد افراد، اثر بگذارد. بدیهی است که این امر، هزینه‌های زیادی را به سیستم بهداشت و درمان کشور تحمیل می‌نماید. با توجه به عدم به کارگیری سیستم کنترلی مناسب، در اختیار نبودن وسایل حفاظت فردی، فقدان اطلاعات و آموزش‌های مناسب و هم‌چنین حاکم بودن وضعیتی مشابه در بسیاری ازکارگاه‌ها و کارخانجات کشور به نظر می‌رسد که می‌بایست تحقیق جامع‌تر و کامل‌تری در خصوص بررسی اثرات بهداشتی آلودگی هوا در سطح صنایع کشور انجام شود. |

Evaluation of Nuisance Dust Health Effects on the Workers in a Tile Industry |

Background and objectives Air pollution in the occupational fields and its economical effects on the health care system is studied from different viewpoints such as products quality, equipment damage, environment preservation, and air pollution control. Nowadays, a lot of attention has been turned toward health effects of air pollution. The objective of this study is detection of the total dust concentration and assessment of the health effect of nuisance dust among workers in a tile production factory. Methods In this study airborne dust concentration was measured and evaluated by using NIOSH 0500 method. In order to determine the health effects, a standard questionnaire was used. All of personnel of workshop 1 (n=50) and workshop 2 (n=50) were assigned to the case group and one hundreds of factory employees were assigned to the control group. Results analyzed using Z test. Results According to the obtained results, concentration of dust in workshop 1 corridor was higher than that of workshop 2 corridor (59.262 mg/m3 and 32.158 mg/m3 respectively). Also, these results showed that there are significant differences between two groups in incidence of symptoms such as dry cough, eye irritation, skin redness, shortness of breath, blurred vision, skin irritation, hoarseness of voice, dry mouth and throat, throat itching and skin itching (P< 0.05). However, there were not significant differences in incidence of headache, chest pain, epiphora of eyes, mucus cough, sinus problems and chest wheezing between two groups. Conclusion On the basis of these results it was revealed that nuisance dust can affect human health and performance. This in turn can increase the medical service load and costs. As a result of inadequate control systems established in the industries, lack of information and appropriate training, and lack of personal protective equipment all across the industries, we suggest a more comprehensive research project to evaluate the effects of industrial air pollution on the workers in order to improve quality of their lives and work. |
