Abstract Introduction: Today, one of the factors that threatens the mental health of the employees is the stress of the organization. The nature and essence of the clinical environments are such that these environments inevitably impose stress and stress on employees. Religion plays the role of defensive shield against stress and creates a wide range of positive psychological effects in individuals. The spiritual intelligence structure is one of the new concepts that has been developed in the interest of psychologists in the field of religion and spirituality. Because rehabilitation experts deal with the health of people in the community and their function in addition to their health, it have a direct impact on the health of other people in society and the negative effects of stress on job satisfaction and the quality of care and the need to prevent stress and behavioral stress and the impact of use measures to reduce occupational stress.This study aimed to determine the relation of spiritual intelligence with rehabilitation staff's perceived stress in welfare organizations centers in Tehran and Shemiranat: 2016-2017. Methods:This research has been done as a cross-sectional with correlation method .163 rehabilitation experts (with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, optometry, technical orthopedics, psychology) were affiliated to welfare organization centers of Tehran and Shemiranat in 1395- 1396 were selected by random cluster sampling method and then consensus method. In order to collect data, a demographic questionnaire, Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire (2008) (Cronbach's alpha 0.88) and perceived stress Cohen (1983) (Cronbach's alpha, 0.84) were used. Considering that the tools used in this research have been used by other researchers in similar researches and their validity and reliability have been approved, it does not require a reassessment of the validity and reliability of the tools. To analyze the data, SPSS version 21 software weas used. Descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation were used to describe the data. Regarding the normal distribution of data, Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze the data. Independent t-test was used to compare the two groups. Findings: The average age of participants in the study was about 40 years, with participants at least 23 years old and maximum 54 years old. 56.5% of the participants in this study were female, 22.9% had a work experience of 10-15 years. The results showed that there is no relationship between age, sex, work experience, marital status, education and type of employment with spiritual intelligence and perceived stress. Between spiritual intelligence and perceived stress there were a significant correlation )p=0/042). Conclusion: According to the findings, people with high perceived stress, have low spiritual intelligence. In order to increase spiritual intelligence and reduce the perceived stress of individuals, It is recommended that spiritual intelligence should be taught to employees periodically.Since the researcher has only used the questionnaire as a measurement tool in collecting data, it is necessary to be cautious in interpreting the results. Therefore, for more comprehensive research, techniques such as viewing, interviewing, and analyzing content are recommended. |
