عنوان فارسی وقار از دست رفته: تجربه غالب ادراک از پیری در سالمندان
چکیده فارسی مقاله درک مفهوم سالمندی و تجربه آن از دیدگاه سالمندان می تواند ادراک واقعی و عمیق تری از پدیده سالمندی و مسائل و مشکلات و نیازهای سالمندان ارائه دهد. تحقیق حاضر با هدف درک و تبیین تجارب سالمندان از پدیده سالمندی صورت گرفت. در این مطالعه از روش پدیده شناسی هرمنیوتیک( Hermeneutic  ) برای جمع آوری داده ها و از روش ون منن( Van Manen  ) برای تحلیل داده ها استفاده شد. اطلاعات از طریق 10 مصاحبه عمیق نیمه ساختاریافته با سالمندان جمع آوری گردید. داده های بدست آمده جهت تبیین مفهوم سالمندی مورد تحلیل قرار گرفت. سه مضمون از یافته ها استخراج گردید  شامل داغ پیری، استقلال مخدوش شده و رانده شدن به حاشیه . که می تواند تجارب منفی سالمندان از پدیده سالمندی را به تصویر کشد. توصیف و درک سالمندان از پیری می تواند داده های ارزشمندی را در اختیار سالمندشناسان و کارکنان رشته های وابسته در گروه های مختلف بهداشتی، آموزشی و اجتماعی قرار دهد تا در جهت کاهش و رفع مشکلات موجود، برنامه ریزی آتی برای سالمندان، برقراری ارتباط مناسب تر با این گروه  و در نهایت ارتقای دانش سالمند شناسی و بهبود کیفیت زندگی سالمندان مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.

عنوان انگلیسی Lost dignity: predominant experience of old age by the elderly
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Paying attention to the views of the elderly and identifying their understanding of old age can be great help for proper consideration about their needs and problems. The purpose of this study was to understand the predominant experience of elderly people of aging. Hermeneutics phenomenology was used to collect data, and the van Manen's method was implemented to analyze those data. The required data was collected by having 10 deep semi-structured interviews with the elderly from Tehran, Mashhad and Gonabad– cities, Iran, and then was analyzed for the explanation of the notion of old-age.Three views that were extracted aging agony, lost independence and marginalization. These can reflect the negative viewpoints of the elderly about the aging phenomenon. The elderly's aging description can provide experts and employees in various sanitary, training and social departments with invaluable data in order to decrease the current problems facing the elderly to plan for their future and better communicate with them, and finally enhance the available knowledge about elderly and their quality of life.
