| چکیده انگلیسی مقاله |
Purpose: To determine and record the dimensions of different parts of the cerebellum and compare them according to age and sex in healthy individuals by Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Materials and Methods: In this observational study, 300 healthy individuals were Who had referred to the imaging center of Imam Reza Hospital in Kermanshah for MRI were studied. The condition for inclusion in this study for individuals was the emphasis of the center's physicians on the health of the individual and the absence of pathological lesions in the brain based on MRI images of their brains. After imaging, the dimensions of the desired parts in the cerebellum according to age and sex were calculated and recorded by the measuring system of the device itself. Data in the study groups were statistically analyzed using Rot test, correlation coefficient and regression at a significant level (P < 0.05). Results: In general, the mean size of the studied components in millimeters was as follows: length of right hemisphere of cerebellum 2.33 ± 61.68, length of left hemisphere of cerebellum 1.95 ± 61.83, height of right hemisphere of cerebellum 2.06 ± 39.58, height of left hemisphere of cerebellum 1.87 .5 39.56, right cerebellum hemisphere width 1.67 ± 49.25, left cerebellum width hemisphere 1.67 ± 49.20, cerebellum width 3.00 ± 98.48, vermis height 2.50 ± 43.13, upper vermis length 1.46 ± 25.60, lower vermis length 1.546 ± 17.59 x height Vermis 1.74 ± 21.83, pyramid length vermis 1.12 ± 9.16. Conclusion: All parts of the cerebellum except pyramid length and posterior vermis height are larger in men than women. Also, more parts of the cerebellum of men than women have a significant relationship with age changes that each part of the cerebellum follows a specific pattern in relation to age changes. |
