عنوان انگلیسی Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Quality of Life for Nurses in Iraq
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background: The COVID-19 pandemic major effect on society people and lead to death of some people. The nurses care staff have been saving lives despite facing the workload and infection risk. Nurses have longer working hours and greater interaction with patients during COVID-19, which can quickly lead to change in quality of life Objective: The study was to assess the impact of the pandemic on quality of life for nurses in Iraq. Methods: A descriptive-cross-sectional online study design is use in this quantitative research, non-probability, snowball sampling technique was used to select the participants A total sample of study (1000) nurses in Iraq completed an online questionnaire Quality of Life during COVID-19 Scale the Arabic version between March to May 2021. COVID-19 impact on quality of life for nurses was assessed using the Quality of Life during COVID-19 Scale. The researchers used statistical methods percentage, frequency, linear regression, One Way ANOVA and independent t-test.  Results: The study revealed regression analysis for impact COVID-19 on Quality of Life for nurses was (p. value= 0.029) and relationship between Quality of Life and demographic characteristics of the study (gender, marital status, years of experience in nursing field, personal protection equipment available in workplace were (p. value = 0.00, 0.01, 0.01 and 0.033 respectively) Discussion: The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the quality of life for nurses. There is a high relationship of significant among quality of life with socio-demographic variables such as (age, marital status, years of experience in the nursing field and personal protection equipment available in the workplace).
