The conventional family structure is distinguished by the societal expectation that men assume the position of primary earners, while women are primarily responsible for domestic duties. The last few years are largely as a result of increased education which has shown that family structures are shifting from traditional single-income families to dual-income families. This study aims to fill these gaps as a form of theoretical contribution. The study uses a quantitative approach with structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze data. The sample of this research is 404 female workers in Indonesia who are already married. Using Google Forms, questionnaires were distributed to 404 respondents and analyzed using the SmartPLS 3 program. The results show that work-family conflict has a significant impact on work stress (p = 0.000). Work-life imbalance has a significant impact on work stress (p = 0.000), Work-family conflict does not directly affect employee performance (p = 0.690). Work-life imbalance does not directly affect employee performance (p = 0.137), Work stress affects employee performance (p = 0.003). The implication of this research is that organizational and managerial support should be used more effectively to help employees achieve an effective balance between work and family life priorities.
