Background and Objection: Urbanization and the expansion of the city limits led to energy infrastructures, which in this review is the high voltage power transmission system, being placed in the vicinity of residential areas. Depending on the intensity of the electromagnetic fields caused by the high voltage power system and according to the duration of radiation and the distance from these energy sources, the level of risk to human health varies. The higher the voltage of the high pressure lines, it can definitely create stronger magnetic fields, which have been proven to have a negative impacts on humans and can even on the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the magnitude of the damage and the negative consequences on health in residential areas where the exposure rate of the magnetic field is high; In a way that can help to formulation the necessary policies and plans to move towards reducing possible damages. Methods: The method used in this study was research and applied, which, according to the necessities of the research, library studies, interview with stakeholders, examination and receiving data, as well as field works in order to observe and inspect the subject. Finding: According to the findings of the interviews, The non-production of specialized content by Authority and The lack of formulate criteria and indicators for assessing the risk caused by EMF It has caused the ignorance of the society as well as the negligence of the ruler towards the responsibility of the issue.On the other hand, The results of examinations shows the Field value in In closed spaces due to the presence of walls and buildings that act as an insulation, it is less and in open spaces it is more than the declared international standards (ICNIRP and IEEE). Managing the risk caused by high voltage power lines requires the adoption of various approaches and procedures, which include policy-making, social capacity building, and technical solutions. The Health and Safety Authority in Iran has not yet entered the category of injuries caused by exposure to electromagnetic fields. Conclusion: In this research, as a proposed solution, a strategic document as well as a proposal for a bill entitled "Reduction of impact caused by electric and magnetic fields" is released to be applied to the upstream laws to the Tehran Islamic Council; considering that there is no law related to people health against radiation of electric and magnetic fields. |
