Background and purpose: In recent years, the world has seen an increase in catastrophic events around the world. Therefore, an important problem that challenges countries is vulnerability to natural disasters. The present study was investigated with the aim of identifying and explaining the effective indicators on the role of knowledge management in the management of natural disasters .
Method: The purpose of this research is applied research, and this research is qualitative-quantitative in terms of the type of data, and in terms of the type of the present research, in terms of its implementation, this research is descriptive-survey. In the current research, the statistical population includes the members of the crisis headquarters and experts and experts in the field of urban crisis management in the number of 50 people. In this research, due to the limited number of the statistical population, and access to all members of the population, the number of samples is equal to the size of the population. Library resources were used to compile theoretical foundations, definitions, and concepts, and the most important resources that can be used include the university library, scientific articles database, database, and internet search. The place of conducting the research is the crisis management organization of the Mazandaran province, in order to collect the desired information and measure the variables of the research, a questionnaire was used, the validity and reliability of which was confirmed using content validity and retesting. In this research, the data collected by the questionnaire was analyzed using SPSS22 software to perform statistical analysis.
Findings: According to the calculation of the importance coefficient of each of the constituent factors, the total score of each of these factors was calculated separately, and as a result, it was found that in the assessment of factors, the score of the crisis management process (327), the score of the role of specialized equipment in rescue operations ( 386) and the score of influencing factors on crisis management is (468).
Conclusion: The results indicate that in the evaluation of the factors affecting the crisis management, it prevails over the other two factors; Knowledge management factors in the three parts of the crisis management process, specialized equipment for rescue operations and factors affecting crisis management can affect the management of natural disasters. Knowledge management can play a vital role by ensuring availability and access to accurate and reliable information about disasters and through effective learning. Identifying the key factors of disaster knowledge will be a factor for successful disaster management. |
