Moral courage is the requirement of observing moral behavior when dealing with moral challenges raised in the face of crisis. The purpose of this research is to design an interpretive structural model of the consequences of morally courageous behavior of the employees of Kerman University of Medical Sciences in widespread crises. This research is practical in terms of research orientation; And in terms of the data collection method, it is descriptive-analytical and survey. In this research, after studying the research literature and identifying the antecedents of employees' morally courageous behaviors and including them in a semi-closed questionnaire, the questionnaire was distributed among 18 managers and expert experts of Kerman University of Medical Sciences, who were identified using non-probability targeted sampling . The data results were also analyzed through MATLAB 9 and Mac Mac 2 software. Based on the obtained findings, the antecedents of morally courageous behavior of employees, under the title of individual factors (self-esteem, personal values, moral model, personality type), management factors (leadership, criticism, honesty, leader-member exchange), organizational factors ( organizational transparency, accountability, culture), and environmental factors (economic, cultural, political-legal) were introduced. As a result, knowing the factors affecting the morally courageous behavior of employees in organizations in charge of crisis can help relevant officials to plan and make appropriate decisions. |
