Abstract
Intraosseous hemangiomas are uncommon benign bone tumors that mainly affect the axial skeleton bones, with a very low occurrence in long bones. In this study a 35-year-old female patient had a solitary intraosseous hemangioma in the proximal ulna, confirmed by radiographs and MRI showing a well-defined osteolytic lesion in the right ulna. The patient had a previous history of intraosseous hemangioma in the same area, first diagnosed at age 25 and treated with curettage surgery, followed by recurrence at age 28 requiring curettage. Presenting with pain and a mass in the right proximal ulna, the patient underwent extended curettage to prevent pathological fractures. The post curettage histologic examination confirmed the diagnosis of intraosseous hemangioma. Ulna is a Rare Location for Solitary intraosseous hemangioma but we report a rare case of recurrent long bones hemangioma in the ulna.
