بررسی نیازهای آموزشی زبان انگلیسی دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان از دیدگاه دانشجویان |

چکیده مقدمه و هدف: نیاز به یک زبان بین‌المللی بخصوص زبان انگلیسی سبب افزایش تقاضا برای یادگیری این زبان شده است. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی نیازهای آموزشی زبان انگلیسی دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان از دیدگاه دانشجویان انجام شد.. روش‌هادر این پژوهش توصیفی پیمایشی ، جامعه پژوهش شامل دانشجویان دانشکده مدیریت و اطلاع رسانی پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان (82 نفر) که واحدهای زبان خود را گذرانده بودند و هم چنین فارغ التحصیلان رشته‌ها ی این دانشکده (32 نفر) که در محیط کار مشغول بودند و هر دو گروه به طور تصادفی وارد پژوهش شدند. روش گردآوری اطلاعات در این تحقیق پرسشنامه محقق ساخته بود که پس از تایید روایی و پایایی مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با روش آمار توصیفی و استنباطی انجام شد. یافته‌ها: مطابق با یافته‌های پژوهش میانگین نمره نیاز آموزشی از دیدگاه دانشجویان (10.6±71.8) بطور معنی‌داری بیشتر از شاغلین (9.3±59.7) بود (001/0PValue<). نیاز به زبان انگلیسی در یادگیری از لحاظ آماری متوسط به بالا اعلام شد. هم‌چنین بین رشته‌تحصیلی دانشجویان و نیاز آموزشی زبان انگلیسی آنها رابطه معنی‌دار وجود داشت (004/0 PValue=). نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد نیازهای آموزشی زبان انگلیسی دانشجویان و شاغلین تا حدودی با هم مطابقت داشتند. نیازهای واقعی دانشجویان به زبان انگلیسی تنها محدود به مهارت خواندن نشد و مهارت‌های شنیداری ، گفتاری و نوشتاری نیز از اهمیت خاصی برخوردار بودند. |

Abstract Introduction: The emergence of ever-growing need for the global demand of English for Specific Purposes (ESP). The researcher investigated the study of english educational needs of students studying in isfahan university of medical sciences: students' perspective. Methods: The population of this applied descriptive survey included the students of the faculty of Management and Medical Informatics (82) who had passed their English courses and the graduates (32). Both groups were selected randomly. Data collection instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity and reliability had been confirmed. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics tests. Results: Totally, the mean of English educational needs from the students' viewpoints (71.8±10.6) was meaningfully (P Value< 0.001) more than that from the employees' viewpoints (59.7±9.3). The need to English knowledge was mentioned beyond average. There was a meaningful relationship between the students' field of study and their English educational needs (P Value =0.004). Conclusion: The findings revealed that the students' needs and the employees' needs had overlap to some extent. Students' needs in the related fields of study were not limited to reading comprehension and the students in different fields of study also mentioned listening, writing and speaking skills as their priorities.
